She has been a guest speaker and workshop leader at the Philadelphia Writer’s Conference, University of Pennsylvania, Lehigh Valley Writers Group, Delaware Literary Connection, Rutgers University Writer’s Conference, and others. She has been on panels and spoken to classrooms at AWP (the Association for Writers and Writing Programs), FUSE (Forum for Undergraduate Student Editors), Montgomery County Public Library, Drexel University Week of Writing, Conversations & Connections Writer’s Conference (Philadelphia & Bethesda), and the Community College of Philadelphia Television (CCPTV) among others.

As a professor, C.J. has taught courses and workshops on the collegiate level including novel writing, content and form in fiction, short fiction, Shakespeare in adaptation, surviving as a writer, and many, many others.
